What do I need to do before arriving?

1: Washed within 24 hours of your appointment.

2: Fully dried before arrival — no damp or wet hair, please.

3: Free of knots and tangles to allow us to begin your service right away.

4: Please avoid applying any oils, gels, creams, or leave-in conditioners.

Blow out hair straight if you have curly hair.

Tips to make my braids last longer ?

Wear a satin or silk scarf or bonnet at night.

Keep your scalp moisturized and clean (use a light oil or braid spray).

Avoid excessive tension or manipulation of the braids.

Touch up your edges or redo the front after a few weeks for a refreshed look.

Do we braid children ?

Yes, we do braid children’s hair! However, we kindly ask that your child is able to sit calmly and cooperate during the service. If a child is crying, screaming, or actively trying to get away, it becomes clear that they are being forced into something they’re not ready for — and that’s not fair to them or to the stylist.

We believe that hair appointments should be a positive experience, not a traumatic one.

You know your child best — please only book if you’re confident they’re emotionally ready to sit through the process comfortably.

How long does a braid style last ?

The longevity of a braid style depends on several factors, including the type of braids, your hair texture, maintenance routine, and lifestyle.

Cornrows / Feed-In Braids: Last around 1–3 weeks, though they can last longer with proper care and if they're done smaller or more intricately.

Is my hair long enough?

your hair must be at least 4 inches long all around to ensure it can be safely and securely braided.
